The server does not replace the familiar AI programs; it extends them. Microsoft Copilot is designed for work in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, ChatGPT and Claude for writing, research and analysis. The AI & automation server adds what is usually missing in a company: controlled access to your own data, automatic workflows, shared tools for everyone and control over data protection and costs. Your existing AI accounts can access approved functions of the server via MCP.

By default, the AI computation is handled by Claude from Anthropic via an interface. The system is built so that the model can be changed: your database, workflows, permissions and knowledge base remain on your server.
