GEQ. The energy performance certificate software with a new brand identity.

For the new brand world of Zehentmayer Software, we developed a well-thought-out logo concept: a standalone company logo, a compact brand logo for the software product GEQ, and complementary sublogos for GEQ Classic and the innovative GEQ Cloud — the first cloud-based solution for creating energy performance certificates. All logos follow a unified design logic and can be combined flexibly. The result is a coherent system that ensures recognition and remains particularly clear and simple in use.

The company color wasn't simply carried over, but deliberately refined: subtly intensified to create presence and depth. Complemented by finely tuned nuances from the extended color spectrum, the result is a confident color concept that shows character without being loud.

For the typographic concept of Zehentmayer Software's new brand world, we rely on the Galano Grotesque type family by Berlin type designer René Bieder. This geometric sans serif combines the clarity of classic models such as Futura and Avant Garde with a contemporary, harmonious formal language. Through the balanced proportions of width and height, especially in the lowercase letters, it supports readability and lends the brand presence a modern aesthetic. We use Galano Grotesque in two carefully selected weights and precisely defined size increments. Line spacing was precisely defined for various application scenarios in the design manual to ensure a consistent, uniform effect across all media. With ten available weights and matching italics, the type family offers ample flexibility for diverse uses. This typographic system creates a visual language that combines technical precision with design clarity, powerfully underscoring the brand identity of Zehentmayer Software.

The new website for Zehentmayer Software is far more than just a digital presence – it is the logical continuation of the newly developed brand identity in the online space. The website was developed on the basis of the powerful CMS Drupal, which offers our clients maximum flexibility, future-proofing, and extensibility – fully in keeping with the digitalized product world that GEQ Cloud represents as the first cloud-based tool for energy certificates.
