Connect wallet business cards to your systems

HUMAN STRUCTURES

We use AI where it makes us better – here too. HUMAN STRUCTURES is an AI-generated image series, developed and curated by us. It shows what we stand for: structure, clarity, orientation. And how we work: with the tools of today and the standards we have always held.

Employee data often already exists within the company. MOREMEDIA develops integrations on request so that wallet business cards can become part of your processes, from data synchronisation to CRM extensions.

An additional application should make daily work easier. Maintaining the same details manually in several places creates extra work instead. Integration planning therefore starts by identifying which system reliably provides each set of data.

The wallet software forms the foundation. Custom extensions connect it with the applications and processes your company actually needs.

Start with the right data source

A primary source should be defined for names, roles and contact details. This might be an employee directory or another internal system. The right source depends on your existing organisation.

Before development, we clarify fields, responsibilities and update requirements. This turns an interface into a clear maintenance process. Our article on central employee card management explains the organisational background.

Develop CRM integrations with a clear purpose

A CRM integration can perform different tasks. It might import selected data or support a process for recording new business contacts. The direction of the data flow and the information required need to be clear in advance.

MOREMEDIA develops these integrations individually. This does not imply that a ready-made standard connector is available for every CRM. The scope and technical possibilities are assessed for the target system.

Sharing contacts and capturing leads

A wallet business card initially shares your own contact details. Someone scanning the QR code can save those details. This does not automatically give you information about the person who scanned it.

If you also want to add a contact to your CRM, you need a separate capture process, such as an appropriately designed form. This process is planned as an extension, with the required data and processing requirements agreed beforehand.

Maintain website and wallet data together

As a Drupal module, the solution can connect to the website's contact profiles. Approved details can then be used both on the website and in the digital cards.

The standalone version has its own web interface. Connecting other applications is a separate project decision. Our article on standalone software and your own server explains the operating options.

vCards in email signatures

A link to the vCard can also be included in an email signature. Recipients can use it to save the contact details provided. When details change in the system, retrieving the link later returns the current information.

That change does not replace previously saved address book entries. Automatically distributing a complete email signature is a separate feature too. If needed, the corresponding process is assessed and agreed additionally.

Define the scope of each extension

For each integration, the data fields, synchronisation direction and handling of changes are defined. It is equally important to decide what happens when details are missing or an interface is temporarily unavailable. These questions belong in the project specification.

Development, setup and ongoing support for the extension are agreed. The wallet business card system for your company remains the shared foundation.

Frequently asked questions

Can the wallet business cards connect to our CRM?
MOREMEDIA develops integrations on request. Feasibility depends on your CRM's interfaces and the process you want to implement.
Are ready-made connectors for all common systems included?
No. Custom integrations are assessed, quoted and developed. This is not a general promise of existing standard connectors.
Can an employee directory serve as the data source?
That is one possible use case. The project defines which details can be imported and how synchronisation works.
Does every scan automatically create a CRM contact?
No. The scan initially retrieves your contact details. A separate process is required to collect the other person's information.
Can we use vCards in email signatures?
Yes. A link to the provided vCard can be included in the signature. Managing the complete email signature is a separate task.
Who maintains a custom integration?
Responsibilities and service scope are agreed as part of development. Changes to connected systems may require later adjustments.

Which systems need to work together?

Show us your data sources and the process you want. We will assess which integration makes sense and prepare a proposal for the appropriate extension.
