Plasser & Theurer career website

For Plasser & Theurer, we took on the conception and design of an extensive career website and, in the subsequent implementation, delivered an individually developed system. The site acts as the central recruiting platform and positions the long-established company as an attractive employer. Through tailor-made interfaces for managing job postings and applicant data, we optimize workflows and guarantee a seamless recruiting journey. Our custom development places particular emphasis on flexibility and extensibility, so the website effortlessly meets future requirements as well. The technological foundation is Drupal – the low-maintenance, easy-to-use open-source CMS regarded worldwide as the first choice for long-lived business websites.

Standalone careers/apprenticeship page for audience-focused messaging

We developed a homepage that welcomes users in a target-group-oriented way. It includes a slogan, an image slider, and animated facts and figures that are both informative and promotional. Open positions are displayed automatically and are always up to date. A clear top navigation makes it easy to switch between the career and apprenticeship pages.

To address the different target groups specifically, we created standalone career and apprenticeship pages. We understand that young people looking for an apprenticeship need a different approach than adults who already have a degree, vocational training, or professional experience. Through this differentiation, we can perfectly tailor strategy, copy, images, jobs/apprenticeships, and more to each target group.

Getting started with the recruiting journey

We want to engage applicants from the very beginning and accompany them on their recruiting journey. That is why we formulated a warm welcome, presented in the form of a mission statement. It clearly communicates who Plasser & Theurer is, what they do, where they are heading together, and which values they pursue to achieve their shared mission and vision. Through this values-based communication, we specifically address the talents who can identify with the company and its values, in order to achieve the best possible match. For applicants with an auditory-visual preference, we also offer an image film. It provides a holistic and immersive experience that conveys an even more vivid impression of Plasser & Theurer.

Clear values as a guiding star - a dynamic, concise presentation

This section presents clearly and concisely which values are lived at P&T every day and which ones future applicants are expected to share. Clear values form the foundation of a strong organization and serve as a guiding star for both employees and potential hires. To present these values in an appealing way, an animation was developed. Clicking on each individual core value gives visitors more detailed information and insights into its meaning. This interactive presentation allows users to build a deeper connection to P&T's values and to deepen their understanding of them.

The areas of work

This section outlines the various work areas at Plasser & Theurer in which interested candidates can get involved. On the overview page, these work areas are first presented vividly in a slider. A click opens the detail view. There, visitors find a comprehensive description of the respective work area along with a list of the associated fields of activity. In addition, short, authentic statements from real P&T employees are presented. These employees share their personal experiences and give future colleagues a vivid account of their work and their respective work area. Through this informative and authentic presentation, visitors gain valuable insights into the various work areas at Plasser & Theurer.

The open positions

The open positions are presented on the career website in a clearly arranged list and categorized in columns. This allows visitors to quickly search for a suitable job position. Intuitive filter functions enable a targeted selection based on the field, the location, and the partner companies. To make the most of the job listings, visitors have various call-to-action buttons at their disposal. They can share the job listing by email or via social media, or apply for it directly. This simplifies the application process and enables smooth interaction with potential applicants. The job listings are fed in and synchronized seamlessly via an API interface that connects the recruiting tool with the website. This ensures central management of all jobs, enabling efficient updating and administration.

In this case, applicants are offered two convenient options. First, the Career Reminder, which notifies them as soon as a new job becomes available, and second, the Quick Job Tour, an exciting speculative application of the future. For Plasser & Theurer, this has the advantage that applicants don't drop off and remain engaged, since additional options are available in the recruiting journey. The Career Reminder allows applicants to stay up to date and never miss a new job opportunity. The Quick Job Tour offers an innovative way to apply proactively and demonstrates interest in a career at Plasser & Theurer in a distinctive way.
