1. General Information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. The operator's contact details can be found in the section “Notice concerning the responsible party” in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of the page visit). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of this data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to request the rectification or erasure of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you may revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. Furthermore, under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of data protection.

Analytics tools and third-party tools

When you visit this website, your surfing behavior may be statistically analyzed. This is done primarily with so-called analysis programs.

Detailed information about these analytics programs can be found in the following privacy policy.

2. Hosting

We host the contents of our website with the following provider:

Host Europe

The provider is Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany (hereinafter Host Europe). When you visit our website, Host Europe collects various log files, including your IP addresses.

For details, please see Host Europe's privacy policy: hosteurope.de/AGB/Datenschutzerklaerung.

Host Europe is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. If corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's end device (e.g., for device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Data processing

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

3. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures

Privacy Policy

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g., when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the responsible party

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

MOREMEDIA®
Veilchenweg 9
4063 Hörsching
Austria

Phone: +43732784084-0
Email: contact@moremedia.at

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, or similar).

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place once these reasons cease to apply.

General information on the legal bases of data processing on this website

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, insofar as special categories of data pursuant to Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your end device (e.g., via device fingerprinting), data processing is additionally carried out on the basis of Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data insofar as it is required to fulfill a legal obligation, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information on the legal bases applicable in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We point out that no level of data protection comparable to that of the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against this. It can therefore not be ruled out that US authorities (e.g., intelligence services) process, analyze, and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence over these processing activities.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING INSOFAR AS IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. This right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

Information, erasure, and rectification

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you may contact us at any time.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we have stored about you, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

  • If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.

  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.

  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from its storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection when the browser address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published in fulfillment of the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies

Our websites use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data packages and do no damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your end device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to analyze user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g., the shopping cart function), or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Insofar as cookies from third-party companies or cookies for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you about this separately within this privacy policy and, if necessary, request your consent.

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Inquiry by email, phone, or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data arising from it (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent may be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analytics Tools and Advertising

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies, and does not perform any independent analyses. It merely serves to manage and deploy the tools integrated through it. However, Google Tag Manager does collect your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.

Google Tag Manager is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the fast and straightforward integration and management of various tools on its website. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, time spent, operating systems used, and the origin of the user. This data is assigned to the user's respective device. It is not assigned to a user ID.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Google Ads

The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads enables us to display ads in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted ads can be displayed based on the user data available at Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As website operators, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analyzing which search terms led to the display of our ads and how many ads resulted in corresponding clicks.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs.

Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offering to specific target groups in order to subsequently show them interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked with Google's cross-device functions. This way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that were adapted to you based on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising at the following link: google.com/settings/ads/onweb.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Further information and the privacy provisions can be found in Google's privacy policy at: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Audience building with customer matching

For audience building, we use, among other things, the customer matching feature of Google Ads Remarketing. In doing so, we transfer certain customer data (e.g., email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the customers in question are Google users and are logged into their Google account, suitable advertising messages are displayed to them within the Google network (e.g., on YouTube, Gmail, or in the search engine).

Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With the help of Google conversion tracking, Google and we can recognize whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked and how often, and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which actions they performed. We do not receive any information with which we could personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

You can find more information on Google conversion tracking in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Enhanced conversions, gclid-based conversion tracking, and value passing

If you reach our website via a Google Ads ad, the Google click identifier (“gclid”) is processed to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. If you then submit a form, we attribute this inquiry to the ad click and — provided you have previously given consent — transmit to Google Ads a conversion value calculated from your details (depending, for example, on the requested service and other project details). This serves solely to better target our campaigns toward suitable inquiries.

For more precise attribution, we use “Enhanced Conversions”: contact data you provide (in particular email address and/or phone number) is cryptographically hashed before transmission to Google (SHA-256 – i.e., irreversibly rendered unrecognizable) and used exclusively for matching with Google accounts for conversion purposes. Your contact data is never transmitted in plain text.

If an order follows later, the initially submitted conversion value can be retroactively adjusted to the actual value (“conversion adjustment”).

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant via our cookie/consent banner and may revoke at any time with effect for the future (“Cookie settings” link in the footer). Without your consent, the gclid is not processed and no data is transmitted to Google. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (where necessary Google LLC, USA – transfer on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy and support.google.com (Enhanced Conversions).

Facebook Conversion API

We have integrated Facebook Conversion API on this website. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, however, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

The Facebook Conversion API enables us to capture website visitors' interactions with our website and pass them on to Facebook in order to improve advertising performance on Facebook.

In particular, the time of access, the accessed web page, your IP address, and your user agent, as well as possibly other specific data (e.g., purchased products, shopping cart value, and currency) are collected. A complete overview of the data that can be collected is available here: developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/parameters.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). This joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its forwarding to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. Our joint obligations have been set out in a joint processing agreement. The text of the agreement can be found at: facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for implementing the tool on our website in a manner that is secure under data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g., requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

Facebook's privacy policy provides further information on protecting your privacy: de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy.

Data processing

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

LinkedIn Ads

This website uses functions of the advertising network LinkedIn Ads. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

LinkedIn Ads enables us to serve ads on the LinkedIn platform and measure their performance. For this purpose, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which establishes a connection to LinkedIn's servers when you visit our website and collects, among other things, your IP address, device and browser information, and data about your visit (e.g., pages viewed). This information enables us to measure the reach and success of our ads (conversion tracking) and to display advertising to suitable target groups (retargeting). We do not directly identify you as a person in this process.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent may be revoked at any time. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

You can find more information in LinkedIn's privacy policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. You can object to processing for advertising purposes in your LinkedIn settings: linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
